Well it is that time of year again where we get to wish all our American friends a happy and filling Holiday.
Enjoy your stuffing, turkey and pumpkin pie and then go out and shop till you drop on Friday.

I will definitely be enjoying tomorrow eating lots of turkey and mashed potatoes with family in the mountains. Then seeing my other granny this weekend...
I hope everybody else celebrating has a good and safe holiday...
As far as black friday goes, there will be no crazy shopping at 5 am for me. I will be sleeping in and then going in to work late, to many problems and a mess I'm sure...

I avoid black friday like the black plague - but for all of you who love it I wish you happy hunting!
I'm heading east to spend a few days with family. I was smart this time and am arriving just as dinner is being served - hence avoiding the standard freak out in the kitchen while the family tries to prepare the meal.
I hope everyone has a great Thursday - whether or not the holiday is included.

Yes SJ, must say that I read on the web that a Wal Mart employee was trampled to death in Long Island after they opened the door this morning. Another customer had a miscarriage in all that bustle.
While I may be fighting the crowds in a few hours, I have only went early shopping once, I lasted about an hour before getting tired of the crowds.
SJ, Normally black fridays biggest sales are between the hours of 5am to 11am. After those hours the prices tend to go up a few dollars, or some items are no longer for sale. People will usually start lining up as early as midnight, to about 3 am for the doors to open.

I'm not fond of shopping at the best of times, but if people are trampling each other -I'm staying away!
