I like Mark. For one thing, he's got more of a sense of humor than poor Ken. He also seems like a more well-rounded character. But I freely admit I am biased towards BotP anyway! Wink

Gatch -Force was the first version I watched and, IMHO, Gatch -Force characters aren`t different from Gatchaman ones at all. I voted for Ace, though I like Ken too.

Ooh, tricky one.

I think the Eagle is the character who I have the strongest problems with in some of the versions.

Any condor is ok with me. Well, not the OAV condor so much, but I don't actually dislike him. Although I haven't watched the OAVs in a while - maybe watching them again would sharpen that dislike up a bit.

Any swan is fine with me. I like Kelly and Aggie perhaps most of all, and the OAV one is again my least favourite, but I don't really object to any of them.

Any swallow - there's not that much to choose between them, I think.

Any owl - I like OAV Ryu's purple hair. I like all the owls.

Villians - again, no problem with versions there. They're generally different enough in all versions to find something to like.

But eagles.... Can't stand Hunter Harris. Not very fond of Ace Goodheart. OAV Ken was a bit of a nonentity. So that leaves Eagle Ken and BOTP Mark.

Probably Mark is my favourite.

I like Ken, but I <3 Ace! He just has that overly goody-goodness to him and then after his father dies, he gets all rage-y and it really was cool to see this character change from oogey gooey good to kinda psycho.

but i think it contributes to the fact that I saw G-Force first. *sigh* the goood ol days

I vote for Mark, because I think he's a bit more human than Ken and I am a bit biased because I am a fan of BOTP as a kid.

Mind you, I am surprise Mark hasn't gone in theropy about how his dad several times in different "accidents" and even came back as a fat bloke.

Oh, gosh... This is such a tough one for me! It's definitely between Ken and Mark... I'm tempted to go with Ken, but I think that's just because I understand his character better. I know Mark is more sensible, but I have yet to figure him out... Mark also has the sentimental value from me, since I was also a child of BoTP. Decisions, decisions...

As a kid I loved Mark... he wasn't like the boys at school...He thought with his brain not his ahhhmmmm..... I didn't like many boys in my year at school. even at 16 i needed a more mature teenage boyfriend. I was sooo fussy about dating.
