Knight Rider

Knight Rider 2008 .

The film which preceded the TV series and had David Hasselhoff guest starring as the original Micheal Knight but the film and the series doesn't star him.

And sadly I am addicted to the new Knight Rider.

Every Wednesday night I book an hour with KITT and Michael and Sarah and their whole FBI connection.

I dunno, is it that KITT is now Ford -- and a MUSTANG!!!!! Or is it that KITT can transform into the gorgeous F-150 truck (oh the F-150 -- how I love thee!! Yuppers I own an F-150 King Ranch Supercrew and I love her)

It's a corny little show -- but I am addicted!!

Although I do prefer the geeky guy in the "KITT Cave" than the main star ... I do love geeks

I'm a Knight Rider fan too. It's not the best show ever produced, but it's tech/action/adventure combo makes it kinda exciting. And the whole "What's Mike's history?" mystery keeps me watching.

And yeah, KITT a Ford... I still can't get used to that. Even though the Mustang is hot, I still can't help but think of KITT as the ultimate Trans Am. Shrug

I have been enjoying the series as well.

Like you I love how KITT can transform. Animeparty
I imagine it would be something like that for Joe when his car transforms.

I too am trying to figure out the whole history behind Mike. Kind of like TJ's story she has been posting, each week reveals just a little more.

Yeah, and that's what I love about the show and TJ's fic. I love mysteries that slowly reveal themselves!

TJ has a five-part BOTP series going. The first three parts are up at ff.net and at the Gatchaman Archives. The three parts, so far, are Fugitive, Memories and Exit Strategy. It is WELL worth reading! The final two parts are coming in November...

So - SJ is a Ford gal. You can join me in Bathurst Winner Happy Dance then.

Ford won Bathurst - in the form of Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup from Team Vodafone (the Brisbane team).

I also like the new Knight Rider -or at least the pilot movie (which is all we have seen over here as yet). I'm waiting with baited breath for the series to start!

So is the series good, very good or better than the original?

I have seen the Team Knight Rider series on ITV in the 90s and wasn't impressed. I know they ahve made Knight Rider 2000 and another Knight Rider film which wasn't part of the Knight Rider universe.

I don't think the series is in this country, at least not yet, and am would like to know if it's worth watching either when it gets over here or on DVD rentals.
