Green Hornet

I have read somewhere that they may be thinking of doing a Green Hornet film either this year or next year.

I cannot confirm this at all yet but if I hear more about it, I will let you know.

(Sorry--couldn't resist. Wink Seriously, that would be a cool movie if they took some care with it. I mean, Kato was one of the best sidekicks ever.)

During the 60s Batman, both Green Hornet and Kato made 2 appearances.

The first one was when Batman and Robin was "walking up the wall" scene where famous people and charactors popped their heads out of the windows.

The second one was a proper crossover 2 parter episode wehre Batman and Robin were after the Green Honet and Kato but joined forces to defeat the real bad guys.

During that crossover 2 parter, they made a big deal with the fight between Bruce Lee (yes that Bruce Lee) and Burt Ward.

In fact our very own Keye Luke was Kato in the radio version of Green Hornet.

Actually, Keye Luke portrayed Kato in the two Green Hornet movie serials. The radio version of Kato was given voice by Raymond Hayashi, Rollon Parker, and
Mickey Tolan.
