I have some news...
Hi Everyone!!
Just letting you all know i may not be around much over the next few weeks...
My DH and I have become parents again to a little 6month old girl called Cassie. We signed the adoption papers today. (Local Aust adoption.)
She's the biological sister to my our (daughter she's 18 mths old.) So it's been a year since we adopted Catie and now we're adopting again. Our families are in shock.
We meet her on Monday for the first time. I'm very excited to be a mum again and so fast!!! If any said this would happen to us a few years back I'd look at them like they we're on something. (No way....I would have thought...)
Anyway... that's my news...

We'll be meeting her for the first time tomorrow. (Monday Australian time)
From her pictures she looks a lot like her older sister.( Down to a dimple on the opposite cheek from her.)
It looks like I'm going to be a busy woman!!!

Yes, I think you will be busy! I have heard people say that having two children that are close in age is harder at first, when they are small, but easier later when they can play together and keep each other entertained. I am sure you will be as good a mother for two as you are for one.
On a vastly lower scale of responsibility and commitment, I seem to have adopted a cat. She's a skinny little female calico, declawed, who had been wandering the neighbourhood here, but has now taken up residence in the garage and appears to have no intention of leaving. Five days now of proper cat food have made her a bit less thin and a bit more glossy. My other cat does not like her one bit, as he hates all other cats that exist, but he's 18 and doesn't really want to fight so he's leaving her alone, aside from hissing at her if she comes too close to him.
