Don't feed the animals

I found this pic on another forum that I am a member of. I found it a bit funny and a bit silly at the same time.

Ha ha ha! Well, I suppose the health and well being of the animals (not the human visitors) is a zookeepers primary concern! Laugh2

Nice... I like how there is no mention of feeding the animals, just the animals feeding on you! Laugh1

I like it when it says that the animals can eat you but then YOU make them ill.

LOL
This was great Met. Now you know why you do not want to feed yourself to animals.

I certainly wouldn't want to feed myself to animals... real or mecha!

Haha, that's hilarious!

It reminded me of the signs in our local zoo... which, admittedly, aren't quite as hilarious, but I still find them pretty weird.

(These aren't my photos - I just did a Flickr search, and found them here, here, and here)

Oh blah, the attachments didn't work and I'm too lazy to try and figure it out right now. Here they are (hopefully)

Wow, with their clear "cause and effect" illustrations, I'll bet children pay attention to these signs far more than they would to ordinary signs. If I'd seen these when I was a little kid, though, I'd have been all upset by the picture of the dead monkey.

When I went to the zoo as a small child I remember getting too close to the Lion's cage and the animal lifting its leg and spraying me.

Where is the sign with pictures that says that? I could not read words but I would have understood the pictures (I hope) Cussing

Don't worry about them being attachaments as sometimes I have problems but the links do work though.

Those are great, Zara! I can see that they would be effective!

OMG! They should definitely warn people about that peril!

Seeing the picture with the zebra reminded me of a story I read a few years ago about a couple in England who bought a female shetland pony from a wildlife park. Several months later, she (unexpectedly) gave birth...

Won't be able to confuse any lions then.

My mother had a similar incident, only it was in the rhinoceros house...
