Inspired toy...

SO my kids recently got a few Batman Lego kits.I haven't paid them much attention, but they've been playing with them.

This morning, as he was eating breakfast, DS was putting something together, and when I took a look at it, my jaw nearly dropped to the floor.

It seems to be inspired by a certain Bird car...

What do you all think?

Wow, he really did make a Gatch II "Condor Attacker"!

Very creative!

Wow! The resemblance is amazing.

So has your DS started calling it the Condor Attacker yet?

LOL... the front piece is done for the Batman kit. And he hadn't finished the car. He had another more complicated bit to add on the back. But it looks so much like the Condor Attacker!!!!

Now I just have to convince him that it is JOE'S car, and not Batman's. (Or maybe it was the Penguin's?)

So the moral of the story is, if you want to make your own Condor Attacker, run right out and get this Batman Lego kit! ROFL 2

I try to keep the Lego genres separate in this house. We have Star Wars, Mars Mission, Indiana Jones, Batman and a sprinkling of Castle, as well as a massive generic bucket. So DS was using the 'generic' bucket at the time. But I'm sure you could do a better job with Star Wars or Mars Mission pieces. Lots of cool plane/wing pieces there!

Could you modify one of the Lego Spaceman helmets?

That's what I thought of using and I have the X-acto knife for it.But I'm affraid of either a.cutting it the wrong way or b.getting cut in the process.Plus the lego space explorers are pretty darn hard to find.

So far,I'm getting the shape for the G-1 and need to get another Jedi Starfighter for parts for the G-3 that connects with it.I think I'll make the cockpit go inside itself to fit onto the G-1.
