My kids are watching the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command cartoon. It suddenly occurred to me that Evil Emperor Zurg:
Bears a close resemblance to a certain 'friend' of ours...

I can see it now at the Anime Villian convention...
"Damn it your wearing my costume!" Evil Emperor storms over to Berg Katse.
"I have been wearing mine since 1970... when the designers thought me up." Katse curtly responded and then went back to look at the latest Mecha design and signs a few autographs of eager fans...
"This won't be the last you hear about me Katse!! No one steals my costume." The Evil Emperor fumes and storms off with a small storm cloud in tow.
"Katse where do you find them..." Count Egobossler walks over and hands him a glass of red wine.
"You think I attract wannabe's... look at who's got her eye on you." Katse smirks and sips his wine.
Count Egobossler pulls a sour face and glances at the ban of his existance. "For some reason that green faced Queen has been following me around this whole convention...Can you believe she threatened to put me to sleep for 100 years if I didn't take her out on a date."
"It could be worse." Katse said looking at the Evil Queen from sleeping beauty.
"How?" Ego asks frowning.
"The Condor and the Eagle could show up." Katse's eyes roamed around the room fearfully like they could appear any minute.
"Here she comes I have to run..." Ego said fear crossing eyes he looks for a way out as the Evil green faced Queen heads in his direction...

Great snippet Ebony. I would love to have a mind that comes up with things like that at the spur of the moment. 
Maybe I am just not cut out to be in this group, I make things too complex. THink things through too much. 
(Does that mean I really am an Eagle?)

CD - we always need you! And you can and do come up with stuff spur-of-the-moment! Not everyone is as quick as Ebony and TJ are (case-in-point, me!) Sometimes you just need to wait for the one "thing" that triggers a thought - then you just go with it. I mean, I never would have thought of anything like Ebony's little story above. That was great! But the comments here didn't spark anything for me, whereas they did for Ebony. So don't think you can't do it, because you can (I've seen you!!), it's more that the ideas don't always give to an idea for you to act on.
(did that make any sense whatsoever??)

Meant to add that I always wondered why Zurg in Buzz Lightyear looked so familiar to me! Now I know... Thanks, TJ!

I know at times I can come up with things, but most of my bright sparks come from a lot of thought, planning and hard work. Which is too much for me to do all the time considering I work hard all day. (Now try to see if that made sense.
)I wish I could do more of those spur of the moment things, because they seem so much more relaxing than what I do.

Okay, Cloud has stopped channeling her inner 6 year old and will return to being an adult now. I was just practicing for having to deal with them in a weeks time when 20 of them show up in my classroom. Well that is my excuse and I am sticking to it.
