Good news and bad news (tempory)
Hi folks.
I am sorry for not being around for much of this month but I do have a not very good reason for this.
The reason is that I bought another Xbox 360 game online calledd Jade Emoire and have being playing that for a week and a half nonstop and then I bought Civilation 4 - Reveloution for the PS3 and being playing that nonstop for nearly 2 weeks up to last night.
The reason I have stopped is that I need to tidy and clean my house (I do this before I go to my parents or they coming to visit me) becasue tomorrow, not only I am a year closer to being in my late 30s but I will be visiting my parents for the August Bank Holiday for the yearly Ledbury festival, so I be out of touch again, but it's only for 5 days, so I will be back (hopefully not on either games console 24/7) in action as Tempory Frisker.....I mean Welcomer.

Happy Birthday, Met!
I'm not familiar with Jade Empire, but it does seem to have a female character in Jun's mold.
Happy birthday, Met! I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your parents!

BTW (I hope this isn't a bad question to ask you) how does Civ 4 differ from Civ 3? I've played the first 3 versions, and I'm scared to try the next, but if it sounds really good I might let myself be sucked into it...

"Erm, I may have made a small mistake there. I meant Civilization Revolution, not Civilization IV. Sorry." Bangs head agaisnt brick wall. "Doh!"
Unfortuantely I have never played Civ 3 or 4, but I have played the demo of Civ Rev on my PS3 and liked it ann since it's similar to Age Of Empires on my PC, I decided to buy it. It won't take long to complete the 4 ways of winning, Domination, Cultural, Economy and first one to settle on Alpha Centauri
Civilization Revolution

Can any of you young ladies, tell me what's it like being 21? I forgotten as it was a long, long time ago in a pub far, far away.

What it's like being 21? Let's see...
You're in your third year of university, and are majoring in history, and you become chums with a girl in your Latin American History class (after jointly creating a skit, depicting Pancho Villa, during one of the conference sessions -we had a weird TA) and she invites you to a party at her apartment, so you go and you meet this guy who's cute and actually has a car, so you start dating him, but then the semester's over and you have to leave Montreal for dull, dull Ohio, but you visit him once and he visits you once, and then you get back to Montreal to start your fourth year of university and he promptly dumps you (oh well, he wasn't that cute), but now you're living with the girl from the Latin American history class, in a spiffy condo that belongs to her Dad (but he lives in Toronto), and you spend the semester having lots of fun, imbibing inappropriate substances, throwing dinner parties (we had a table that sat eight! we had a dishwasher!) and letting her talk you into busking with her in subway stations (and I'm not much of a singer!) but this guy from back home that you've been smitten with for years who never seemed to like you that way, shows up in Montreal for five days with a new and improved attitude towards you (whee!), but when you get home to Nova Scotia at Christmas you learn that he's with the girlfriend that he had said he'd broken up with (heartbreak!) so you go back to Montreal and never see or speak to him again, and then when late February rolls around, you go to Florida for a week with your roommate, and turn 22.
Or was that just me?
Happy Birthday Met

I'll have a beer or two or three for you today at Flash's baseball tourney - he's playing Provincials this week!!
Don't worry about getting older - Heck, I can't remember 21 and I really don't miss it all that much. I love getting older! I'm 34 next month and am actually excited for the countdown to 40!!
Hugs and smooches, darl!!
