Okay, I think we decided that this week is Goon Week! So feel free to post anything you love about the goons! Here are some pics I selected.

I like how when Jinpei or Ryu dress up as goons - none of the other goons seem to notice that they don't fit the typical goon model in height or girth. (If I was technically talented I would post screen captures . . . but I'm not.)

I have quite a few "birdie goons" in my collection...I found at least one goon shot of each member, except Joe...and I remember that Joe dresses as a goon in ER (along with Jun and Jinpei)...so TJ may have that one...

I was watching episode 78 of Gatchaman last night and I think those are my favorite goons. The way they bad mouth Katse and he was listening and when Ken takes the gas chamber key and dangles it in front of them then takes them out..priceless. That was such an intense episode you really needed some comic relief...thanks goons!

Okay, I put together a quick animation. You can't tell at all that it's Joe in the goon uniform until he rips it off, so here's the 'Joe rips off Goon Uniform' animation. They use this shot in the opening sequence for Eagle Riders.
And since I was wandering around through that episode's screenshots to find these, I came across this shot of Joe entering the base. I thought it was appropriate for Goon Week.

Well, we are talking about Goons here... They're not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed (And though they are tools, I'm not quite sure they're the sharpest lying around the garden either!), so they probably didn't even notice the visor sticking out....

Mark is the one who can mimic Zoltar.... its so easy to mix em up in your mind especially if you go constantly between the two series.
Yeah he did become the captain ANOTHER stupid Galactor costume... I bet he had a laugh when he saw it and then made him wear it !!!
I wonder if he got it back for his Halloween costume...

It was my impression that Ken created that costume himself. So he would have WANTED to wear it not be "made to wear it".
As for getting it back for Halloween - I can't remember did he transform and destory it? Or did he change out of it? I guess that is a decision that the view has to make on their own.

Oh jeez...now I have fic fodder...Jun wears the goon costume, and Ken wears the Captain costume...
