Aaaah, they desecrate a beloved icon of my childhood! (Elmo isn't one of them -I hate Elmo!)

At least it wasn't Kermit.

(Was that Gobo Fraggle at 0.35?)

(I thought I saw a Fraggle too! but I was too icked out to watch that again) I don't really like NYC disaster movies as it is -- now I don't like disaster on sesame street movies either. I'm kinda creeped out.

The benefit of living in another country... you can watch
America being torn to shreds by Aliens and weird creatures...an have no real emotional attachment.

Yeah I agree. I thought Cloverfield was a good film. I heard that they may do a sequal. Don't know how it would work, but the ending reminded me of the ending of the Dawn Of The Dead remake, where you don't know what happened to the remaining charactors.

I wasn't too sure if it was a Fraggle Rock. If it was, then it must have been built by a lot of doozers. I wonder if Uncle Traveling Matt visited it.

What I don't understand is why are aliens and weird creatures want to attack America for?

Because there's a major film-making industry based there, so it's their best chance to land acting jobs in disaster movies.

Ahhh so THATS Why Spectra really attacked Earth and Zoltar decided to wear a weird costume!!! He was after a movie role as a baddy in a Batman movie!!!

I can see it now...

Zolatar stormed down the hallway to his meeting with the great spirit.

"What." She snapped at a goon..."Not now..."

muttering curses he paused at the door to gather his wits for the meeting.

"I've been duped!" He cried. "Damn it."
Drawing in his anger he pressed the button to go into the room...

"Illuminous one." He said bowing towards his leader.

"Zoltar..." The great leader returned his greeting. "Please explain this insult."

Zoltar fumbled... eventually he found the words.

"They tell me its a great role one that will-"

"Nonsense!" The great spirits spat, looking furiously at his subordinate Prince. "We are meant for greatness....not this..."

"Well...OK there are few glitches... and Batman didn't quite workout." Zoltar vainly tried to explain himself.

"And I know... that series we were cast for did drive you insane with that goodie goodie robot-"

"No...Nooooooo...I still have nightmares." The great leader pleaded.

"This movie...has potential." Zoltar knew he needed to go in for the hard sell now.

"I'm just not sure about my role really...a mutant, called Berg Katse?" Zoltar bit his bottom lip.

"And those annoying teenage actors will be back in it again...with all the behind the sceens teasing, and hell they gave me last time...That damn Joe Asakura and his feathers in my butt while in the lunch queue. I can't help it if my costume is bit seventies looking....I'll talk to the director about him next time..." Zoltar pouted.

"I don't know..." Marla purred. "Joe is very manly...and since I'm in the coming moving as your female self.... Joe and I can-"

Zoltar looking at his sister." No faternizing with the enemy..."

"It's just a movie brother... isn't that what we went to all the trouble of flying 5 million light years to Earth for?"

"For me to be thrown into a volcano and have everyone hate me!" Zoltar sank to the floor.

"Hump! If you think your script is bad... you should read mine!" The great spirit said looking at the two of them.
