March...In like a Lion...Out like a lamb???

Looks like the Southern Ontario folks are in for another dumping of the white stuff....at least it's not terribly fridgid or windy like February was!

It's snowing a bit here in Indianapolis -not enough to impress me, but enough to scare the locals.

We've just got rain here...lots and lots of cold rain...but I can't complain, b/c it's warmer than usual...we've had quite a few 70 degree/sunny days... Yippee

It's still cold, though for the last 2 nights, the temperature haven't been near 0 C. Usually been dry with plenty of cloud and sunshine. Doln't know about tomorrow though.

The snow started with me at around 2:00 and when I left for home at 6:00 it took me twice as long as it usually does. It looks like we already have 2 cm of snow on the ground and it is expected to continue snowing like this for at least the next 24 hours. That will make over 15 cm of snow which is what they are forcasting 15-25 cm.

BTW Kimi, most people are saying March came into Ontario like a lamb, not like a lion. This is becasue the first weekend in March was beautiful sunny and above seasonal temps.

If that is true then it will be going out like a Lion, with what I expect to be out last storm of the the season at the end of March beginning of April. Nature will play an April fools Joke on us by presenting us with snow. Wink

Rain here... We're on the warm side of the front that's dumping all that snow on Kimi and CD. The entire state is under a flood watch and it's supposed to deluge tomorrow... 3-4 inches of rain, I think. Fun, fun, fun....

At least it is a weekend. And then I have a weeks break so, I will not mind this snowstorm I can hide inside and hibernate until the snow melts or the week is up, whichever comes first. Shrug

I was wondering that CD. The first two days of March were great weather wise... but since it has been cold and supposed blizzard in the area. Does that mean it will leave like a lamb? I certainly hope so.

Today is going to rain at some point but haven't seen a ny water falling from the sky yet.

Also, after talking to my mum on the phone, she told me that it's going to be a tiny bit windy called gales next week, which means that I instead of taking the bus to work, I will be flying to work.

Flying sounds better then the bus anyhow, wonder how my racing tires will hold up in the snow???

Here I was looking forward to a warmer weekend here (that would be the 20-30's for us) and I wake up to it snowing and not just a little bit either, we got a few inches. I'm sick of looking at the snow....

Ah yes it's March Break for you isn't it CD? I don't have those anymore..I used to go down to Williamsburg VA and Myrtle Beach South Carolina for the March Break back in the '80's but I understand that travelling in general right now isn't good, by plane or by car.

Well for the Lion or Lamb arguement..I'd say right about now it's pretty Lion-ish with no end in sight, and I'm hoping it's going out like a Lamb.....*crossing fingers*

Weather-dudes are calling for 30-50 cms of snow now...

I know my parents hope so as well, as they are due back from the south at the end of the month. The email I just got said "Make sure winter is done when we get back?" Smile

I said I would do my best but could offer no promises. Even with all my "Rigan Powers" I am not a Prime who can control the weather. Winknudge

Oh My! Are they really? Cloud runs off to check the weather channel.

20 C in the afternoon today! Yesterday were only 8 C and windy! And I've got a flu from all these weather changes. Not to mention my mood tends to be just as squirmy!

A city close to here got 20 inches since yesterday. Good thing my trip there was last weekend. We got close to a foot here overnight.

CD my parents are hoping that the snow has stopped before they return from FL too.
