Hi all
Not sure if im putting this in the correct forum or not but i just wanted to show you the Radio Control Godphoenix i am currently building.
Hopefully she should fly ok when she is completed.

Wow! I have always wondered if the Phoenix would actually be able to fly. I do hope you finish it and that it does turn out to be flyable. Even if it doesn't fly, it still looks very impressive.

Your RC Phoenix looks fantastic! I would love to see footage of it when it's done and goes on it's first flight. My BIL is into RC planes and I've helped him out in the field a couple times with them. I give anyone who's into RC planes tons of credit - I see what my BIL goes through building them and I know they're not for the faint of heart. Especially when they fly... He just lost his best plane when a part failed....

I will be taking it into my local rc shop at some time next week to get it weighed and the correct motor and pusher prop can be bought.
Its made of Depron which is a dense polystyrene type material, its tough but its really easy to work with
Loved Battle of the Planets since i was 8 (I saw them the first time round in the UK ) Always wanted a Phoenix but its only recently i suddenly got the urge to build it, im hoping i can sell the plans when all the kinks are worked out
My next one will be a shuttle from another cartoon called Ulysses 31. Im convinced i can make it fly lol
Will post some proper pictures very soon and maybe a video of the elevators working
