It makes you wonder where their relationship is in current time...he is so mixed up and now she is too. It can be a dangerous combination because they have so much to work through...but it can also be good, Princess still has it more together than he does...

I feel for Sean, he's still trying to sort out his own life and emotions even though he loves her.

Yes they are both mixed up but they have a lot to work through and it will make them stronger at the end.
