boy scout or dedicated worker
It has been some time since we debated anything so I thought why not debate the merits of our eagles persons.
Was he a boy scout oand goody two shoes or was he just dedicated to the cause and willing to sacrifice everything else until it was complete.
Is he really that dense when it comes to girls or is he just playing dumb?
So what do you think?

Yes, he's dense too. But I suppose Jun was explicite enough to make him clear she has a crush on him. He even figured out that Rumi likes him, but that was only an attraction towards his Eagle persona. At this point he's playing dumb. I think it's because he's affraid of having more responsabilities. He is indeed a man of his word and he keeps his duties well. He also seems to know his limits( at least in the first 2 series) . So saving the world on a daily basis is enough for him. No need to complicate his life with a long term relationship.
As for the sacrifice thing, he knows that there can be no love or attachement for another (especially a team mate) untill the war it's over and they can live and sort their lives. Oterwise Katse/Sadra/Ego would just kill the person he loves and laugh in his face.
As for a relationship with Jun, this would end up destroying the team's harmony. How would they two feel with Joe's snide remarks about their hubbie romance in the back??

Well I was thinking more along the lines of contacting a world in a different universe where gatchaman is evil and having them Berg Katse. With him out of the picture in this world there will be finally...... But that works to lol.

I think you have to be careful here in distinguishing WHICH Eagle you are referring to. MARK is very much a boy scout, while KEN is more driven by duty, and I think of him as less of a 'goody-goody'.

They idea was to see who came up with what for each one.
Tj has already mention Mark and Ken but what about Hunter etc?

ITA about Hunter. He was similar to Mark in terms of boy scout-ish dedication, but much too boring. At least, until the Phase Foil screwed him up royally.
As for Eagle/Swan hints... it was just like in Gatch itself. There were DEFINITELY Condor/Swan hints in the first 2/3 (to the point of taking OUT one of Joe's love interests and adding IN a love interest for Hunter) and then in the last 1/3 there were serious Eagle/Swan hints, particularly after Hunter has been injured and Kelly remembers the times they had together.

In G-Force, There was no romatic involvement or even a hint of it between Ace, Dirk, and Aggie. Even in the Jigokillers ep, he didnt seem as sad when they decided to destroy the flowers.
Ace was all business, and Dirk lived to piss Ace off.
But that's just my take on it.
