I still don't understand why people buy these dolls and then pull them apart and sell them separately. I'm still looking for a black leatehr Jun in my price range. I already have the traditional Birdstyle Jun... she's super cool! Big Grin Swan

That's just daft. That seller could have made so much more money by leaving the doll intact. G3 Dark isn't being made any longer and is out of stock just about everywhere.

I thought the same about selling them in pieces.

Like why would you buy the head and not the rest!

I did like the dolls body, and her face. It was made in proportion. But I still like Jun in her pink Birdstyle more than Black...

I found the body first, and giggled a bit at why they would sell a headless body! But then I found the other pieces...LOL

I just wanted see how everyone reacted to it...

it is such a shame that they sell like this.

I agree it should be kept complete.

I have seen auctions for modified bodies - some with tattoos and some with little pixellated areas showing how they've been made more realistic, except for all those areas of articulation such as the ribs/abdomen of course which can't be made realistic at all. Perhaps the prospective costumers are making things that cover the joints and expose the added nipples and pubes instead.

I would assume they're selling to people who want to make customised figures, but it is a real shame when they're selling something that's almost impossible to get in its complete form, all in little bits.

Did you notice the hands are yet another separate auction?

That sort of makes sense. As I discovered when I got my 'traditional Birdstyle' Cool Girl Jun, they come with interchangeable hands. 3 different sets, in my case.

Hi all!

Which is exactly what's going on. There are a number of people who collect 1/6th scale parts in order to customize them, and that's who this seller is marketing these auctions to. You see the same thing happen with the various 1/6th scale military figured released by companies like Dragon and BBI. Depending on the popularity of the pieces, the sellers can often make more money selling them separately than they could if they sold it together.
