The Owl also has a strong, supportive side. Not just physically strong, but emotionally strong as well. He supports the Swan, Swallow and Eagle at times when they need it and provides insights that the Eagle sometimes does not see.
Yes he did provide comedic relief and knew when to use it when there was tension between the Eagle and Condor, as well as at other times. He used his knowledge of the two to know how to stop things from getting too far out of hand. (All of this is my opinion anyway.)

He was laid back enough to keep thing in prospective in the team...I like that Owl as you would a brother, you could hug him really and he is shown with a few girls in the series...pretty blonds I noticed...I love some of the Owl pics...poor Ryu for falling for a girl that wants the Eagle...no wonder Ken pushed her off him. Go for him though not to break the Owls heart by returning her affections.
