Long Weekend Weather

What the hell is up with these meteorologists?? First they're saying it's going to an amazing weekend warm & sunny...now they're saying it's going to rain!!! Make up your minds people! *starts throwing feather shurikens at TV*

Hope it is not an expensive TV Kimi.
I have learned to believe only what I see, not what they say. I have to as a teacher, otherwise I would be worring about my students being indoors all day.
We have been lucky so far, no rain days yet.

They threatened storms & rain here too. Still 27 sunny weather and I don't mind that. (Rain always depresses me) What I mind is the 12 -14 temperature degrees difference between morning and afternoon! Lightning

That is Okay too, as long as it is 12-14 degrees warmer, not colder.

Yes, it is warmer, but you don't want to walk three kilometers on feet on 25 degrees with two sweaters on you!

We have those big temperature swings too... every day... that's party of living in our part of California. The night is easily 30 F cooler than the day.

Our weather has been a bit topsy turvey too, but they say that it will be in the low 70s F (low 20s C) here this weekend.

One thing about Australia we have spectacular thunder storms with good shows of bolt lightning! I love to wake up to a storm in the early hours of the morning...dark gloomy but beautiful too...ahhhh DH and I love to watch storm from the house at the in-laws farm...those dark clouds moving across the horizon with lightning striking...such stories to tell from relatives that got almost too close to a bolt of lightning on a farm!

That is the one thing I miss about not being on a farm...or in more open space!

Alright Ebony was off on a tangent again down memory lane.... biggrin2

Ohhh Kimi! I have a Staffordshire Terrier Cross and she ended up curled up next to me in bed this morning because of the thunder. Usually she sits there and barks back at thunder, but not when it thunders at night.

I hate thunderstorms. My internet connexion always crashes during those times.

We actually got decent weather today. We took the kids to the amusement park and they had a blast.

Well the Great Lakes monsoons seem to be over with for the day! Went to mum's for early Thanksgiving Dinner...and man... It took me almost an hour to get there...usually only 15 minutes tops! Took the side roads the QEW was at a stand still and forget about going over the Skyway, would have got blown off! I think the last place I wanted to be (on a steel bridge) in the lightning!

You're probably thinking of American Thanksgiving, which is at the end of November. Animejoy

You mean the Canadians and the Americans have it at different times! You learn something new everyday!

Yes we do. That is because historically in Canada, being further North, we harvest our crops a month earlier than America.
