What did I miss?

Well I am back after a week from H****

(In a thread, somewhere TJ asked me why I felt like an Eagle. this was an Eagle week. Having to keep control of myself and everything around me so I did not loose it all)

I had a couple of bad days with my class. Lessons that I am preparing for presentations to compare assessment information between classes and schools went terrible. For some reason my class was not listening, or did not follow instructions and everything went out of control there, plus my principal is demanding so much paper work I have more of it on my desk than student work.

To top it all off I got a phone call the other evening from my brothers supervisor. He had a major seizure while at work and was rushed to hospital. Out of the blue. He has never had anything like that before. Test have all come back normal so we are not sure why it happened. He has been staying with me the last couple of days, so I can keep an eye on him in case it happens again.

He has been told he is not allowed to operate heavy machinery but he really wants to pick up his car and go home, (I believe a car could be considered heavy machinery). I have been trying to explian to him I feel more comfortable with him at my place, because if he goes to his home, an hours drive from my place, he will have no one to check on him if something happens again. But he is an adult, only two years younger than myself, so he can make decisions for himself. I really can not force him to do something he does not want to.

Any way my parents arrive back from England/Wales tomorrow so then they can take some of the worry off of my shoulders. Maybe they can convince him he needs to be looked after until he has his visit with the nerologist. OTOH maybe I am being to controlling and should let it all go.

(For now Cloud wants to return to Owl mode so she can follow someone who is much stronger than her, someone who knows all the answers and can tell me what to do. Cloud wants to curl into a ball and pretend the world does not exist.) I am off to bed now and will return, to catch up on everything, after I get more than a few hours rest.

Huggles Huggles Huggles Huggles Huggles

FWIW, I have a younger brother like that, so I know how you feel. I'm glad your parents will be coming back and able to help.

It sounds like a lousy week. The thing with the assessments is especially annoying, because it sounds like you prepared for that and still were frustrated. Unfortunately, you can't predict how young kids will act.

It's the weekend. Have a good sleep, relax and unwind, and hopefully next week will be better.

I always wanted a sister, I thought maybe i could get along better with a sister. Shrugs probably not but......

I also always wanted an older brother, one who could help me complete my homework, not a younger brother who was a pain in the arse. We were always agruing over something. It was not until I was at university I started to see him as a person and not a pain.

I have slept, and am trying to unwind by feading through all the posts and fics you have been posting. As for next week being better, that is all I can hope for and all I keep reminding myself about. And the next weekend is Thanksgiving so I will be getting a three day weekend. Can't wait.

As for my brother, right now all we can do is wait for his appointment with the nerologist, who will give him some final tests to see if they can find out what caused the seizure. I gather he may have his driving liscence removed until they figure out the cause.

*Cloud does not feel the need to curl up in a ball and cry quiet as much. But some nice strong Eagle or Condor arms to hold her would make her feel even better. Some one to say its okay, I will take over now, you can sit back and stop worrying.*

It looks like the Condor could use some Huggles of his own.

Don't worry Condor, Cloud will be right there.

Ooh, I can see it now:

TJ mopes at her computer. Oh why can't she figure out an ending to her fic?

"Don't worry, TJ!" says Mark re-assuringly. "I know my part has gotten all serious, but it's going to work out just fine, you'll see. But you know, seeing as there's no smut in this one, I'm getting awfully lonely... perhaps you could keep me company for awhile..."

Jason pops his head out of the computer screen.

"Hey, TJ!" he says. "I know I'm not one of the main characters in this story, but I'd like some smut too! It's the least you can do, seeing as all I'm doing is playing second fiddle to the Eagle in this one!"

TJ sits, bewildered and grinning like an idiot, wondering what it was she was thinking before this happened, so that she can re-create this scenario again tomorrow.

Suddenly, a pointed purple mask sticks out of TJ's Mac.

"You know, I'm a main character in this story, and I think villains deserve smut too!" demands Zoltar.

"Nooooooooo!" screams TJ, running in fear.

Uh.... where did this go wrong? Eek1

Nothing for the Owl???

Maybe the Eagle needs to go flying and the Condor should go to the races would that help you out of your fic problems?

And send Zoltar off with Zark, they could eliminate each other.

BTW TJ, some where you said your fic was 100 pages long already.
How long is your longest fic?

Or Ebony, what is the length of Lightning so far?

I guess my measley 11 page fic is nothing. A bump on the radar.
"I don't need to post it where everyone will trip over it." says Cloud trying to find another reason not to post.
