Speed RacerTheme - by Alpha Team

Okay, so now that I have officially stopped peeing myself laughing and having to explain myself to about twenty people here ... I can tell you guys.

Near on ten years ago there was a techno group/mixer/whatever called Alpha Team that decided to take the original Speed Racer them song and make it techno.

Now... At the time I got a good chuckle out of it. I was always a Speed Racer Fan - I still actually have a Mach-5 that Flash made for me .... say it with me ... awwwwwww

Anyhoo.

So as you know. The them is something like:

Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer. He's a demon on wheels - or something like that.

So in this song they have samples from the show, you know, Trixie, speed, the bad guys, you name it.

So it appears that Speed gets into a little accident during the song, and Trixie does her "Gasp! Speed, are you all right?" thing ... then ... cue the porno beat.

There is about thirty seconds of Trixie calling Speed and giggling and moaning - and, of course, Speed and his trademark "uh-huh" ...

Then it gets heavier.

It gets more intense. It gets faster ... and faster ... there's more "Oh Speed" and "Uh-huh's"

Then it stops ... and the theme song kicks in:

Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer ....

Okay, it's a location thing, you really need to be listening to it to appreciate it fully, but DAYUM!

If anyone can download it, I strongly recommend it.

It's worth the giggle!!

Damn. I wish someone would do something as cute for our birdies like that - altho the Cuban Brothers did do an interesting mix to BotP ...

You can ignore the clip, or raise a brow and watch what the creator has come up with ... <grin> Kinda funky clip, actually... I love fanvids..

It's a nostalgic thing ... I used to farking LOVE this show ...

I dunno, he always kinda reminded me of Mark for some reason ...

I forgot to mention that thats the HARDCORE version of the song where they let everybody hear Speed and Trixie well doing it(can I say that here). there are 3 versions of the song:

1-Club Mix

2-Radio Edit(I think they used this one for the video from the Speed racer Movie from '92-'93)

3-HARDDCORE(the one one al are talking about)

It is funny when you listen to it isn't it.

Nope, I'm from the US. That Scotland quote was from the Speed Racer cd, lifted from the episode where Captain Terror wants to get his revenge on Speed. Lasershot
