Robot Chicken

Hi all!

Since I haven't seen anyone mention this here yet, I figured that someone should point out that the Cartoon Network Adult Swim series Robot Chicken included a segment on Battle of the Planets in their latest episode.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Robot Chicken, the show is a stop motion series that mostly utilizes action figures to create parodies of various shows and movies. The humor is definitely lowbrow, but if you can put your brain, and all sense of good taste, into neutral, it can be quite funny.

The episode with the BotP segment in it can be found on the Adult Swim site at:

Robot Chicken

The BotP segment is the second one in the show, immediately after a brief opening gag, and runs for a minute or two.

Be aware that the show is definitely not kid friendly nor is it workplace safe! You have been warned!!

James

Thanks for posting this, James! As someone who doesn't have cable I appreciate it!

And FWIW, my kids loved it. Of course, they've seen the entire Gatch series, all of the Star Wars movies, LOTR series, etc. etc. etc. Wink

Ha ha ha... Amy, the funny thing is, I did kind of write a bit of a horror story with the birdies once, and Springie (my beta-reader) was so horrified that she forced me to change it! The combination of gore and dead Birdies had her in palpitations! Evillaugh

I think it was the sheer clumsiness of the maneuver that bothered them... Wink
