Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up- Pablo Picasso.
This may not be what you're after, but perhaps it will help. For the 2003 GatchaCon fanzine, I wrote an article on the Gallactor leaders for each series and the OAV. The article gave descriptions for the characters, what they could do, and in which episodes these references came from.
Unfortunately, I lost my electronic version of the article in a hard drive crash not long after it was completed and sent off for the fanzine, so to retreive this, I have to retype it from a hard copy. I've only had time to do the first part of the Gatchaman Fighter section, covering Governor Z. If this is along the lines of what you're after, let me know, and I'll get the material on Egobossler, Marstora, Kempeler, and Mekandor retyped as well. It wouldn't be until next week, though, since I'm leaving town for the weekend in the morning, and won't have time to do more until I get back.
Anyway, here's the start of things:
Gatchaman Fighter
Governor Z
(Character Voice: Seizo Kato)
When Governor X was destroyed through the efforts of the Science Ninja Team
and Gel Sadra, a small fragment of him survived ("Gatchaman II" #52). Due to the unique
nature of the "Mecha Brain," this surviving piece was able to function on its own as a
separate individual. This fragment could fly and generate bursts of energy to fend off
potential attackers. Taking machinery and raw materials from a shipyard, the fragment
built itself a body shaped like a gigantic pyramid and named itself "Governor Z" (#1).
With this new form, Governor Z became like a gigantic fortress, able to fly or
teleport himself at will. He could also teleport people or objects into and out of his body.
As the original fragment upon which Z was built came from a section of Governor X used
to create mecha, Governor Z built within himself the ability to manufacture new Iron
Beasts. The Iron Beasts he created required men to operate them, hence the reason why
Governor Z allied himself with Count Egobossler: Governor Z supplied the Iron Beasts
while Egobossler supplied the manpower to run them (#'s 1, 2).
His body had many ways to defend itself against intruders, be it by manufacturing
new Iron Beasts (#12) using wall-mounted or flying beam weapons (#'s 47, 48), even
distorting reality (#48). His abilities extended to being able to bring the Gatcha Spartan to
a dead stop while it was using the Hyper Shoot (#43). For all these powers, the fragment
of Governor X that made up the core of Governor Z was physically quite fragile, and if it
could be cut off from his immediate defenses, it became easy prey (#48).
With his internal manufacturing abilities, Governor Z could repair damage done to
his body almost instantly. This power was not limitless, however; Z could only
manufacture new Iron Beasts and repair himself for as long as he had raw materials to
work with. When he attempted to create an army of Iron Beasts, he needed a steady
stream of resources transported into him in order to continue the manufacturing process
(#12). These same manufacturing abilities were not limited to creating Iron Beasts or
self-repair. Governor Z used his abilities to create Gallatown, a duplicate of Egobossler's
castle and its surrounding city of Satanforhen in exact detail, hidden under the frozen
wastes of Iberia (#15). When Gallatown was destroyed by the Science Ninja Team (#43),
Z rebuilt it once again, this time hidden underground in a desert valley in Ameris (#44).
While Governor Z was working to help Egobossler to conquer the world, Z was
also using Egobossler to help further his own agenda; the destruction of the Earth. The
first part of his plan began as a signal Z was sending into space. This "Cosmo Pulse" was
detected by the I.S.O. and titled "AQ3" (#20). As the I.S.O. tried to research the Cosmo
Pulse, Governor Z used Egobossler and his men to hinder their efforts (#'s 20, 26, 35). Z
was finally forced to tell Egobossler what the Cosmo Pulse was being sent to: an asteroid
of anti-matter that he was drawing toward Earth. Z explained that, while the asteroid
would cause a great deal of damage to the Earth, Egobossler and his forces would be
protected underground in Gallatown, and the Earth would be easy to take over
afterwards. This was a lie, for the anti-matter asteroid would destroy the world (#35).
Once the I.S.O. uncovered the truth about the Cosmo Pulse, they made efforts to
stop the anti-matter asteroid from striking Earth, but were decoyed by a second, smaller
anti-matter asteroid (#44). While dealing with the damage caused by fragments of the
asteroid striking the Earth, the larger anti-matter asteroid was able to come within 30
hours of striking the Earth before it was detected. At this time, Egobossler finally realized
what Governor Z was going to do (#46). While the Science Ninja Team made a valiant but
futile effort to stop the approaching asteroid, Egobossler and his men were able to enter
Governor 's body and attack him from within (#47). The damage he caused weakened
Governor Z enough to allow the Science Ninja Team to board Governor Z and, at great
cost, defeat the rest of his defenses so Ken could deliver a final fatal blow to the fragment
that was Governor Z. With his death, the body Governor Z had created for himself
exploded, and the anti-matter asteroid returned to deep space (#48).
Well, as things turned out, I had more time tonight than I thought I would, so here is the write-up for Egobossler:
Egobossler
(Character Voice: Koji Nakada)
Count Egobossler was the 28-year-old leader of the Egobossler Family, a military
dictatorship with dreams of conquering the world. Following the downfall of Gallactor,
Egobossler decided it was time to launch his plans. Egobossler was an admirer of the
earlier incarnations of Gallactor, to the point where he even displayed pictures of Berg
Katse and Gel Sadra on his walls ("Gatchaman Fighter" Planning, #1). From Egobossler's
castle located in Satanforhen (#6), Egobossler had amassed a large army. Egobossler's
forces quickly advanced across the globe, making their largest inroads throughout the
continent of Irope. The United Nations Forces were unable to halt the advance of the
well-armed Egobossler Family, and as the Science Ninja Team prepared to engage these
troops, their battle was interrupted by the appearance of Governor Z and one of his Iron
Beasts. The Science Ninja Team was quickly overpowered by the Iron Beast, and
Governor Z spoke directly with Egobossler. Z offered to make his Iron Beasts available
for Egobossler to use in his plans to conquer the world if Egobossler supplied the
manpower to run them. Egobossler accepted the bargain, and the Egobossler Family soon
transformed into the third incarnation of Gallactor (#'s 1, 2).
At first, Egobossler's army continued their advance across Irope in a drive toward
North Agrica (#'s 3~13). It was in North Agrica that the tide finally turned against
Egobossler's troops, thatfs to the introduction of Phaser Tanks to the U.N. arsenal (#13).
These tanks had the firepower to destroy an Iron Beast single-handedly, and the U.N.
Forces soon pushed the Gallactor troops back to Satanforhen, where the threat of
Egobossler would have ended if not for Governor Z transporting him and his troops to the
newly constructed Gallatown via underground trains (#'s 14, 15). From then on,
Egobossler was forced to scale down his plans. While he did not abandon his hope to one
day rule the world, Egobossler had to use his troops in more secretive attacks, much as
Gallactor had done in its previous incarnations (#16 onward).
Count Egobossler enjoyed many hobbies. His best known habit was his taste for
wine (#'s 1, 4, 10, 22, 34, 42, among others), but he also enjoyed smoking cigars (#4),
playing poker (#12), skeet shooting (#25), fencing (#37), listening to classical music on his
victrola (#14), and the occasional party (#'s 4, 25).
Egobossler was well versed in the use of firearms, both pistols and rifles (#'s 14,
25, 34, 42). Despite this, his weapon of choice was a sword, which he even used to defend
himself against Ken, the Eagle (#'s 13, 34, 42). He was often seen wearing a special
combat helmet that gave him the appearance of a smiling face (#'s 1, 14, 30, 39, among
others). Egobossler carried with him a locket bearing the scorpion symbol of the
Egobossler Family. Inside the locket was a picture of Egobossler's mother (#48).
While not the expert in the art of disguise that Berg Katse was, Egobossler could
carry off an impersonation if necessary, and managed to convince Director Nambu that he
was scientist Daniel Syuear when Nambu visited the doctor (#34).
Despite his prominent public image (#'s 4, 18, 25, among others), little was known
about Egobossler's past. Even investigations by the Science Ninja team to uncover details
about him proved fruitless (#'s 25, 27). Egobossler did his best to keep his past buried, for
he knew that if the truth was revealed, it could lead to his downfall (#39). In fact,
Egobossler was not the man he appeared to be; Kaseru Egobossler, the only son of Great
Count Egobossler. His true name was Erun, and while his father was indeed Count
Egobossler, his mother was not the Count's wife. His mother was Margot, one of the
Countfs maids. Margot was beaten to death by Count Egobossler when she protected
Erun from the Count's punishment for injuring his legitimate son, Kaseru. As she was
dying in Erun's arms, she revealed the truth about the identity of his father to him (#27).
Not long after this, Erun appeared before his father and half-brother with his face
covered in bandages. Erun shot and killed Count Egobossler, and was then attacked by
Kaseru. Throwing a knife, Kaseru managed to slice the bandages off Erun's face. This
revealed that Erun had had his face changed to look like Kaseru's, only with blue skin and
white hair, along with a fresh cut on his left cheek from Kaseru's knife. Erun had Kaseru
locked away in a remote castle upstream of the Ain River, to spend his days a prisoner
while Erun took Kaseru's place as the ruler of the Egobossler Family. He didn't kill
Kaseru only because his mother didn't want Erun to hurt his brother (#27). Egobossler
showed that he would take any steps to maintain the secret of his birth, from killing an old
friend (#25), to having family servants hunted down and killed (#27).
All of Egobossler's efforts were eventually for naught. After berating Kempeler,
one of his high-ranking officers, once too often for his failures against the Science Ninja
Team, Kempeler used his position to uncover the truth. Freeing Kaseru Egobossler,
Kempeler staged a coup, deposing Erun and replacing him with Kaseru, the rightful leader
of the Egobossler Family. Erun would have been locked away as Kaseru had been if not
for the intervention of Mekandor, another of Erun's officers. Kaseru's command of the
Egobossler Family was short-lived, however, for he soon died in combat against Erun and
Mekandor's forces (#39). With Kaseru gone, it wasn't long before Erun overcame
Kempelerfs forces and regained control of the Egobossler Family (#'s 40, 41, 43).
Egobossler's greatest triumph came from his struggles against Director Nambu.
Egobossler knew the threat that Nambu presented to his schemes, and decided that he
needed to be eliminated. After several attempts to kill Nambu (#'s 34, 35, 36), Egobossler
realized that Nambu had information that could be of value to him, and decided to capture
and question him instead of killing him outright (#41). When Egobossler finally captured
Nambu (#41), he tried various means to breaking the will power of his prisoner to get him
to reveal his secrets, none of which worked. Just when Nambu appeared on the verge of
being rescued by the Science Ninja Team, Egobossler shot Nambu, fatally wounding him
(#42). Not content with this victory, Egobossler even disrupted Director Nambu's funeral
service and desecrated his grave with an explosive planted on it (#43).
Initially the relationship between Governor Z and Egobossler was quite amicable,
and Egobossler would not have escaped the invasion of Satanforhen if it weren't for Z's
timely intervention (#15). But when Z began using Gallactor forces to destroy I.S.O.
research facilities and observatories (#'s 20, 26, 32), and to kidnap scientists involved with
research into the Cosmo Pulse (#31), all without solid explanations as to why (#31),
Egobossler grew suspicious about what Z was trying to hide (#'s 26, 32). So, Egobossler
began his own research into what the secret was (#34). When Governor Z discovered this,
he told Egobossler enough of the truth behind the anti-matter asteroid to fool him into
believing that Z was working toward the goal of world domination (#35).
Egobossler finally realized the truth when the second anti-matter asteroid was
discovered. By this point, Z felt nothing could stop him, and admitted the truth to
Egobossler (#46). As Egobossler wanted to rule the world, not destroy it, he decided to
stand against his former ally. Egobossler convinced Z that he wished to survive long
enough to watch the end of the world so that Z would allow Egobossler and a few of his
men inside of Z himself. Once inside, Egobossler and his forces attacked Z. While they
were able to destroy Governor Z's power generator, weakening him, they were soon
overcome by Z's defenses (#47). As his forces were whittled down around him,
Egobossler made his way to the fragment that was the core of Governor Z. Within sight of
that goal, Egobossler made a final attempt to strike down Z, but his foe took control of
Egobossler's own sword and ran him through with it. As Egobossler died, his thought
were of his troops during happier times, cheering him on (#48).
And the rest of the villains:
Marstora
(Character Voice: Osamu Ichikawa)
Marstora returned to Earth to participate in the Gamma Plan. Under this plan,
Egobossler would draw the Science Ninja Team to Polymia Island while Marstora would
take control of the space station Lemuria 7 and destroy the undefended New Jork City
with missiles from space. Egobossler did not like being used as a decoy, but was
commanded to do so by Governor Z (#22).
Despite the failure of the Gamma Plan, Marstora remained on Earth. He felt that
Egobossler was "an eyesore," "arrogant," and that his loyalty to Governor Z was doubtful.
Marstora hoped to convince Z to allow him to take command of Gallactor. Governor Z
decided to allow the two men to compete to see who was the better man for the position
(#23).
Marstora made several attempts to impress Governor Z, including a mission to
destroy a Mantle Energy Factory (#29) and using a lifeform brought from Mars to attack
the population through New Jork City's water system (#30). The failure of these plans
was a source of frustration for Marstora and great dissatisfaction for Governor Z (#30).
Following the battle with the alien lifeform, the Science Ninja Team managed to
catch up with and attack Marstora's ship. Though Marstora called Gallatown for
reinforcements, Egobossler refused to send any assistance to his rival. Marstora died
shortly afterwards when his badly damaged craft exploded (#30).
When Marstora initially returned to Earth, he came in a larger spaceship than had
been seen before (#22), be he continued to favor his previous smaller, saucer-shaped ship
during his stay (#'s 22, 30). It was in this craft that he perished (#30).
Kempeler
(Character Voice: Kenichi Ogata)
The 35-year-old Captain of Egobossler's bodyguards and his Intelligence Officer.
He was said to be a heartlessly cruel man with no compunction about killing ("Gatchaman
Fighter" planning). Being in charge of intelligence gathering, Gallactor's spies worked
through him, including the espionage work of the Rider Commandos (#39). His duties
often took him into the field, at times escorting Count Egobossler (#'s 4, 9, 24, 34, among
others), and other times in charge of an operation (#'s 3, 10, 26, 38, among others).
Kempeler carried a sword as part of his uniform, but he preferred to use his pistol
instead (#'s 10, 34). Kempeler also had a radio hidden in the upper left breast button of his
uniform (#19).
Kempeler proved himself adept at disguises when he managed to sneak past U.N.
security forces protecting Cowbella City while disguised as an ordinary villager coming
into town for a festival (#26). Not that he always needed a disguise; his skill in infiltration
was so good that he was able to sneak into a building directly across the street from I.S.O.
Headquarters in his full military regalia without being noticed (#10).
A series of failed attempts to see Director Nambu assassinated, as well as nearly
revealing the location of Gallatown to the Science Ninja team, led to a rapid decline in
Egobossler's favor for Kempeler (#'s 34, 35, 36, 38). Angered by the actions of his
superior, Kempeler had the Rider Commandos investigate what Egobossler was hiding in
the castle on the Ain River. They returned with Kaseru Egobossler, the rightful ruler of the
Egobossler Family. With Kaseru on his side, Kempeler had Erun Egobossler removed
from power. When Kaseru was killed in combat, Kempeler seized power for himself.
This soon led to a struggle for power between Kempeler and his former
commander, but Kempeler was quickly outmatched by the tactical skills of Egobossler (#'s
40, 41). It wasnft long before Egobossler deposed Kempeler and had him put before a
firing squad and executed (#43).
Mekandor
(Character Voice: Yoshito Miyamura)
The 38-year-old Commander of Egobosslerfs Armored Division, he had command
over the various branches of Egobossler's military. He was said to be a man who "enjoys
destruction" ("Gatchaman Fighter" planning). More often than not, if Mekandor was
involved in an operation, he could be found out in front, leading his forces (#'s 13, 19, 24,
37, among others).
Mekandor carried both a pistol and a sword, be he was more likely to eschew the
former for the latter, and was even willing to test his swordsmanship against that of ken,
the Eagle (#'s 9, 34, 45).
One thing was certain about Mekandor; his loyalty toward Egobossler. When
Kempeler forced Egobossler from power, it was Mekandor who freed him and stood by
Egobossler through the struggle to regain control of Gallactor (#'s 39, 40, 41, 43).
Mekandor was by Egobossler's side when he led his assault on Governor Z to save the
Earth. When Governor Z attempted to kill Egobossler with an energy weapon, Mekandor
willingly sacrificed his own life to save that of his leader (#'s 47, 48).
Fascinating stuff Thank you very much for retyping it. I've got Gatch F on video, but without the ability to speak japanese, this will help it make a bit more sense.

ohhh that's interesting.....you sometimes want to write more to cannon if your making them older but it's hard when all you can go by is descriptions but the info here is good.....

I don't know if you can get more shrewder than Katze, but Egobossler managed to conquer a lot of territories with his own armies & resources only.
Although had no problems with killing people, nor remorses after, he seem to have a soft spot for his mother
I think that behind his cruel and arrogant facade he's a momma's boy.

I will post the finished version here to.....Anyway I thought i should have a character that was relevent to the 3rd war and I have heard some things about Ego so I will use his character....
I'm doing from the outbreak of the war so he won't really be known to the team then so it may work...
he won't be popular with the condor that's for sure.......
