Jun learns disturbing secrets about her past. How does this affect her relationship with Ken?

Excerpt

Jun hadn't counted on was hundreds of green-suited goons being in the hangar. She needed a distraction.

Jun rewired circuits in a nearby panel, changing power and controls and initiated her sequence of instructions. She wasn't entirely sure it would work.

As planned, the largest plane in the hangar fired a missile directly into the mass of troops.

But Jun hadn't planned on secondary detonations. Heavy artillery was stored around the hangar. The initial explosion set off one compartment, and then others, causing the entire base to ignite in a violent reaction a few seconds after the blast.

Jun threw herself to the floor as the hangar door exploded, raining shards of glass in all directions. She stood up, cutting her feet, staring at what was left of the hangar, intense heat baking her face, and scorching her throat as she breathed.
