A Small Infini-T Force Update

Hi all!

The Infini-T Force website has updated to give a short (And mostly spoiler-free) description of the first episode of the series. It says:

#1 Isolated Flower
Script: Toshiya Ono
Storyboards: Kiyotaka Suzuki
Director: Kiyotaka Suzuki

Emi Kaido is a High School girl living in Shibuya, living alone in a luxury residential area, living a wealthy but lonely life. One day, a mysterious light suddenly appeared in the sky of the intersection of the station, and when Emi realized that it had pierced through her body, she unintentional clutched a too large pencil in her hands. Along with a pile of rubble that showered from skies beyond time and space came a group of unidentified battle robots. Confused, she was rescued by three heroes who came from other worlds, Gatchaman, Polymar, and Tekkaman.

The Infini-T Force website has a few photos to go with the description. These can be found by going to to "Story" section of the site.

In other news, the "Anime Jacket" cover for the CD single of the Infini-T Force ending theme, "Tick Tock," has been revealed. It looks like this:

The CD will be released on October 11th.

Also, the 4th volume of the Infini-T Force manga will be released on October 5th. As I expected, this cover features Emi and Tekkaman.

There's still no word on which anime simulcast service will be carrying the series. Yes, I know that the series premieres next Tuesday, but this kind of late announcement is apparently par for the course for these companies. Most of them are expected to make the announcements about which series they will be carrying this weekend at Anime Weekend Atlanta, which starts on Thursday. When I hear more, I'll be sure to let you know!

Thank you so much for the update James! Hopefully we will have the chance to enjoy it in English... not even dreaming it will ever appear in Spanish though

Never say never. The Viz license for Infini-T Force covers Latin America, along with North America and Oceania. With Spanish being the prevalent language through much of Latin America, Viz would likely want to include some sort of Spanish language option to make the series more marketable in that region -- though that could mean Spanish subtitles, not a Spanish dub. We'll have to wait and see on that one.
